SHOPTALK 2022 – 5 sessions you don't wanna miss

With travel bans being lifted, thousands of retail professionals are coming together to network and shoptalk in Las Vegas.  Weezmo is thrilled to take an active part, meeting and conducting live demos of our solution throughout the week.

The agenda is really filled with everything retailers want and need to know, by some of the world’s most experienced field leaders. In fact, it may seem a bit challenging to pick the right session without missing out on another.

To be of some assistance, here is a short recap and some highlights of sessions that speak about data, and customer journey across the different omnichannel. We at Weezmo think they are notable, helping visitors get their feet wet:

MARCH 28 at 9:15am — 9:55am; Session 2

Leveraging Omnichannel Data Effectively

“The average consumer now uses stores, online and mobile throughout their shopper journey, making the path to purchase more complex. Through a series of conversations, executives from retailers and brands will share how they’re collecting and combining data across channels, and how they’re using these insights to create a cohesive omnichannel shopping experience.” Session managed by: Steve Miller, SVP, Strategy, eCommerce, & Analytics, DICK'S Sporting Goods;  Natalie Mackey, Co-Founder & CEO of The Glow Concept, Winky Lux; Edward Park, CEO of Americas & Head of Global E-Commerce; and Lovisa Monisha De La Rocha, Partner, Bain & Co. (Interviewer)

MARCH 28 at 10:00am — 10:40am; Session 3

MARCH 29 at 8:30am — 9:10am; Session 1

Benchmarking My Ecommerce Capabilities

“Ecommerce spending continues to grow by double digits and is forecast to cross the $1 trillion threshold in the US in 2022. Retailers and brands must therefore ensure their digital capabilities are state-of-the-art. This workshop will give attendees a framework for assessing how their digital capabilities stack up, and for prioritizing features ranging from personalization and curbside pickup to realtime online and in-store product availability.” The session is led by Jamie Dooley, Partner, The Partnering Group

MARCH 29 at 1:50pm — 2:30pm; Session 4

Redefining the Physical Store Experience

“Accelerated by the spike in ecommerce, the purpose and role of stores is changing, as are the factors that motivate consumers to shop one versus another. This session will feature three companies introducing new store formats, experiences and services that complement their online offerings in order to attract shoppers and keep them coming back.” Session is led by Marc Mastronardi, EVP & Chief Stores Officer, Macy's; Ben Kaufman, Co-Founder & CEO, CAMP; Mike LaVitola, Co-Founder & CEO, Foxtro; and Melissa Gonzalez, Founder & CEO, The Lionesque Group, an MG2 Company (Interviewer)
